19-year-old Jameria Mason was charged with assault when she entered a restaurant, went behind the counter and punched an employee in the face. The fight was broken up by a manager and employees.
On May 26th, Memphis Police Officers were dispatched to the McDonald’s on 614 South Highland Street. According to the affidavit, Armani Jones told authorities that ex-roommate Jameria Mason came into her place of employment and proceeded behind the counter in an attempt to incite an altercation.
When Jones threatened to hit her, Mason punched her in the mouth. The squabble was broken up by other employees with Manager Nala Swift taking Mason back to the lobby and Jones being carried to the break room. Nala Swift and security footage corroborated this version of the events.
On June 26th, Jameria Mason was arrested and charged with assault. Her bond was set at $1,000.
