Woman threatens to shoot her husband and 13-year-old nephew

70-year-old Carsine Morris was charged with two counts of aggravated assault after she threatened to shoot her husband and 13-year-old nephew.

On August 22nd, at 1492 North Graham Street, Archie Davis and his wife Carsine Morris were involved in a verbal dispute when Morris pulled out a .22 caliber derringer and pointed at Davis threatening to shoot him. Morris then took a .25 caliber handgun and racked it and then made threats to shoot everyone in the residence. Davis’s 13-year-old nephew was also in the house.

Davis called the police and Morris were detained by officers. Officers recovered both weapons. Archie Davis and her nephew both arrived at Felony Response and gave video statements about the incident. Her minor nephew corroborated the accounts given by Archie. Carsine Morris arrived at Felony Response but was unable to give a statement about the incident due to being intoxicated.

Carsine Morris was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault. She was later released on her own recognizance.
