Memphis Police were dispatched to Wingood Circle on Thursday in response to a domestic incident between Regina Stovall and her ex-girlfriend, Jazmine McGhee. If you are expecting fireworks, you won’t be disappointed.
Jazmine McGhee told police her ex-girlfriend, Regina Stovall, came to her apartment to retrieve her belongings, post-breakup. Jazmine didn’t want to actually have to deal with her, so she had the foresight to place the items outside in her vehicle. She says Jazmine still attempted to come into the apartment she arrived. Stovall admits to picking up a rock or brick because she wanted to bust out the window of her ex-girlfriend’s car, but she didn’t actually smash it. According to witnesses, the pair did brawl, with Stovall hitting McGhee in the face and scratching her neck.
According to an arrest warrant, McGhee told Stovall that she was going to use her bag of sex toys on someone else going forward, at which time Stovall told McGhee that she was already having sex with someone else. At that point, there was more physical fighting and Stovall grabbed her belongings from McGhee. Stovall was found to be the primary aggressor and was taken into custody after a brief foot chase, charged with domestic assault, and booked into the Memphis Jail.
