19-year-old Tyveon Clemmons was charged with assault after he punched his pregnant girlfriend in the face and gave her a nose bleed.
On November 6th, Memphis Police Officers McDunn and Settle arrived at the residence of 6512 Birchbrook Lane in response to domestic violence call. Upon arrival, Ta-Ya Aldridge advised she got into an argument with her boyfriend, Tyveon Clemmons, when he punched her twice in the face.
Aldridge stated she was pregnant and officers noted blood on her shirt from a nose bleed caused by Clemmons. The police were informed Clemmons may have fled to 6557 Mill Creek Road and attempted to make contact with him at the residence. The officers suggested the owner, Clemmons’ mother, help find her son and ended up locating him outside the house.
Tyveon Clemmons was arrested and charged with assault. He was later released on a $1,000 bond.
