28-year-old Nichole Burnett was involved in a domestic incident with her brother, Nicholas Simpson, at a Pendleton Avenue residence on April 24th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Simpson, who stated that Burnett got angry and pushed him before walking off. Simpson then said that he followed her to try to calm her down, and Burnett attacked him with what appeared to be an ice pick. Officers then spoke with Burnett, who stated that she had a rat tail comb in her hand during the altercation. Officers deemed Burnett to be the primary aggressor and took her into custody for domestic assault.
