23-year-old Jonie Bowen was one of several females who were congregating, waving at passersby in front of The Southeast Motel, which is on the Attorney General’s No Trespass Program due to being known for violent crimes, prostitution, and illegal narcotic distribution, during the evening hours of October 20th. Officer Tulo responded to a complaint call regarding the possibility of numerous female sex workers at Lamar Avenue. Upon arrival, Officer Tulo activated his blue lights and was able to detain Bowen after a short foot pursuit. Bowen denied occupying a room at the Southeast Motel and was observed to be wearing black see-through lingerie, exposing her body parts to the public, as she loitered. Bowen told officers that she was previously charged with the manifestation of prostitution in Dallas, Texas. Officers placed Bowen in custody for criminal trespassing, evading arrest, prostitution, and indecent exposure.
40-year-old Preston Woodruff was charged with evading arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, aggravated kidnapping, possession of a controlled substance with intent, and two counts of attempted rape after reportedly kidnapping a woman, attempting to force her into oral sex, and making herself her pimp.
20-year-old Tristen McClanahan was charged with aggravated assault, two counts of theft of property, vandalism, and evading arrest after reportedly stealing a work truck, fleeing from police, and destroying multiple mailboxes in the process.
33-year-old Clay Ruddell was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and evading arrest after he ran from the police with three used syringes in his jacket, per report.
18-year-old Avonta Gregory was charged with property theft and evading arrest after joyriding in a stolen Mercedes-Benz and running from the police.
30-year-old Dezmond Harris was charged with kidnapping, domestic assault, and evading arrest after two witnesses reported seeing him chase down a woman, knock her to the ground, and force her into a vehicle.
20-year-old Darion and 18-year-old Devonn Townsend were charged with attempted murder, evading arrest, and tampering with evidence after Darion fired a pistol at a man driving behind them and Devonn threw the pistol in a lake.
22-year-old Marshawn Brakefield was charged with resisting arrest, reckless endangerment, aggravated assault, and theft after he evaded police in a stolen Camry and hit an officer with his own baton as he tried to run away.
24-year-old Deangelo Lomax and 48-year-old Theresa Logan were charged with possession of marijuana with intent and three counts of possessing a firearm during the commission of a felony after Deangelo sped away from police, bringing them to Theresa’s house, exposing the drugs and guns found inside.
25-year-old Andreotti Cole was charged with evading arrest, as well as theft of property and 23-year-old Derrick Stovall was charged with two counts of evading arrest, theft of property, and possession of cocaine after officers spotted them in a stolen vehicle then found cocaine during a search of the vehicle.
