Katherine Gore booked for trespassing after causing scene at law firm

38-year-old Katherine Gore was seen trespassing at the Allen, Summers, Simpson, Lillie, & Gresham Law Firm on May 20th. An officer witnessed Gore walk by and recognized her from a picture security sent him. The officer asked Gore several times for her identification, but she refused and tried to go downstairs. The officer attempted to stop Gore, but she tensed up, placed her arms in front of her, and refused to give up her wrists. During the process of detaining Gore, she started screaming, causing workers to stop working. The incident drew a crowd, which stopped the flow of business. Katherine Gore was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and criminal trespass.

Alyssa Leonard spits on multiple police officers while resisting arrest

20-year-old Alyssa Leonard was seen assaulting officers and resisting arrest near Millbranch Road and East Raines Road on May 19th. Officers arrived on the scene after they were advised that four armed males began running after they attempted to pull them over. The men ran from Millbranch and Raines to a Delsa Circle residence before they were retrieved from the residence and detained. After a while, Sincerely Anderson and Alyssa Leonard arrived on the scene, causing a disturbance. Officers told them both to get away from the vehicles, but they refused to listen to officers’ commands. The pair became irate, and officers continued to refuse their orders, so they were both detained. While officers attempted to take Leonard into custody, she began spitting at them. She continued this behavior while being placed in the back of the patrol car before kicking an officer. Officers then attempted to detain Anderson, who was pulling away from officers, refusing to give them her hands. Anderson was very combative with officers and also spat on them as well. Leonard was charged with two counts of assault against a first responder, one count of resisting official detention, and one count of disorderly conduct.

Rilesha Hines resists arrest after ignoring officers commands to stay back from crime scene

On May 9th, 22-year-old Rilesha Hines was seen resisting officers near Raines Road and Winchester Road. On the scene, there was a pedestrian who was struck while crossing the street and pronounced deceased. Officers asked Hines numerous times not to cross the crime scene tape, but she did not listen. Several officers asked Hines to back up from the roadway, but she ran through the officers and fell to the ground on her own accord. Officers attempted to take her into custody, which she resisted. Hines was later taken into custody for Disorderly conduct and resisting official detention.

Kenyatta Brown chases man down street with piece of glass

25-year-old Kenyatta Brown was seen assaulting Cameron Al-Wali at Cooper Street on April 21st. Officers arrived at the location and observed Brown being held back from attacking Al-Wali. When the bystanders saw the officers step out of their vehicle, they released Brown, which led to Brown chasing Al-Wali down the street. Officers told Brown to stop, but she refused to listen, so they made Al-Wali come to them to stop her. This, however, did not stop Brown from assaulting him and trying to strike him with a large piece of glass in her hand. Officers then attempted to place Brown in custody, but she refused and would not give officers her hands to get cuffed. After a brief struggle, officers got her cuffed and attempted to put her in the squad car, but she again struggled by stiffening her body and putting her leg on the door. Kenyatta Brown was transported to booking and charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.

Jakaisha Lucas jailed for causing a scene during an investigation

On April 20th, 21-year-old Jakaisha Lucas was with her friend Ja’mia Estell, who was caught selling alcohol illegally in a parking lot near South Main Street. When officers made contact with Estell, she admitted to selling beverages that contained alcohol. Jakaisha Lucas, who was also with Estell at the time of her arrest, progressively became more upset and refused to obey the officer’s commands—drawing the attention of more individuals in the area. Lucas was then taken into custody for disorderly conduct.

36-year-old Brian Holmes was charged with disorderly conduct, aggravated criminal trespass, and resisting official detention after threatening Starbucks employees and refusing to comply with officer’s demands.

38-year-old Tiffany Lewis was charged with assault and disorderly conduct after police reportedly witnessed her crack her boyfriend in the head, and then she proceeded to strike the officers who were attempting to arrest her.
