Deborah Pruitt assaults daughter during confrontation after son says “Grandma was being mean”

68-year-old Deborah Pruitt was involved in a dispute with her daughter, Kelly Pruitt, at Glencoe Road on April 4th. Law enforcement made contact with Kelly, who informed them that she let Deborah watch over her juvenile son. When she returned home, her son told her, “Grandma was being mean.” Kelly then confronted Deborah about her son’s statements, and Deborah became belligerent. Deborah grabbed Kelly, causing bruises and an abrasion on her left arm. Shortly after, Kelly asked Deborah to leave, but she refused and started hitting walls and making a mess. Deborah then left the residence soon after.

Officers later contacted Deborah, who said she was watching Kelly’s son. Deborah then stated Kelly came home and threw her out. Deborah Pruitt was deemed the primary aggressor, so she was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault on April 21st.
