31-year-old Marquisha Brooks was taken into custody for being a fugitive from justice without a warrant on April 25th. The Shelby County Sherriff’s Office received a hit from the Nation Crime Information Center, showing that Brooks had an outstanding warrant for an aggravated assault in Texas. Officers then confirmed the newfound information with the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, and she was taken into custody.
