23-year-old Marcus Redd of Memphis was charged with vandalism when Fidel Hall of 57 Somerville St. found him naked in a hallway after Redd broke down the door of Hall’s apartment, damaging a television and window, and puking on the apartment floor on May 30, 2020.
According to the affidavit, Officers Wheeler, Moore and Nowakowski responded to a vandalism call at 57 Somerville St. There, Fidel Hall told police he found Redd naked and lying in the hallway. Redd broke Hall’s door, damaged his television and broke a window in the apartment. Redd puked in the residence before leaving the apartment.
Officer Wheeler went to Redd, who was still lying in the hallway. Redd became violent and needed to be restrained, as he was trying to assault the officer.
Marcus Redd was arrested and charged with vandalism,. He was later released on his own recognizance.
