Boyfriend tells police, “I think she stabbed me” after woman stabs him

38-year-old Jennifer Manning was charged with aggravated assault when her roommate called the police after witnessing Manning stab her boyfriend in the chest several times.

On October 19th, Memphis Police Officers Bustamante, Willis, and Henderson arrived at 2005 Dupont Avenue and made contact with Steven Thompson. Thompson advised police he observed Jennifer Manning and her boyfriend sitting in his driveway in her 2004 Chevy Tahoe.

Thompson stated Manning and her boyfriend lived with him and had been “bumping heads” all day. Manning struck her boyfriend in the chest multiple times and he proceeded to exit the SUV. He told police, “I think she stabbed me .” Thompson observed the incident inside of the SUV from his residence and noticed blood coming from her boyfriend’s chest. The police were contacted, Manning was taken into custody at 2711 Rangeline Road and admitted to stabbing her boyfriend.

Jennifer Manning was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. She was later released on a $15,000 bond.

    I would appreciate this being taken down it is not true it was not my roommate that called I called he hit me first charges have been dropped take it down I’m going to sue you for slander

    Charges were dropped by the way. Self defense. We are no longer together. I am married and he is in and out of jail.
