On April 20th, 21-year-old Ja’mia Estell was caught selling alcohol illegally in a parking lot near South Main Street. When officers made contact with Estell, she admitted to selling beverages that contained alcohol. Estell was with a juvenile as well on the scene and was unable to provide a permit or paperwork for the sale of alcohol. After verifying Estell’s identity, she was found to have a warrant for theft of property and was placed into custody. Jakaisha Lucas, who was also with Estell, refused to obey officers’ commands and was also placed in custody.
