Ja’mia Estell illegally sells alcoholic beverages with minor present

On April 20th, 21-year-old Ja’mia Estell was caught selling alcohol illegally in a parking lot near South Main Street. When officers made contact with Estell, she admitted to selling beverages that contained alcohol. Estell was with a juvenile as well on the scene and was unable to provide a permit or paperwork for the sale of alcohol. After verifying Estell’s identity, she was found to have a warrant for theft of property and was placed into custody. Jakaisha Lucas, who was also with Estell, refused to obey officers’ commands and was also placed in custody. Estell was taken into custody for contributing to the delinquency of a child and unlawful sale of an alcoholic beverage

Ja’mia D. Estell of Meadowlark Ln in Memphis, TN, was booked into the Shelby County Jail on April 21st, charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and unlawful sale of alcoholic beverages. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $5,000.
