39-year-old Shamika Farmer was charged with assault, contributing to the dependency of a minor, and disorderly conduct after she and her daughter threw punches at another student and her mother at Craigmont High School.
On March 11th, Deputies Maclin and Nelson responded to a call about a fight between two students and their parents at Craigmont High School. According to the affidavit, Shamika Farmer arrived at the school to pick up her daughter Madicyn Williams because she was involved in a fight earlier that day with Ashia Thomas and had been suspended.
An officer had escorted them out of the school, but Shamika and Madicyn refused to leave the school grounds. When Ashia and her mother Lakesha Thomas walked out of the school, Madicyn hopped out of Shamika’s car to confront Aisha and started fighting her. When officers reviewed the school’s security footage, they observed Shamika throwing punches at Ashia’s mother, Lakesha.
Shamika Farmer was arrested and charged with assault, contributing to the dependency of a minor, and disorderly conduct. Her bond was set at $100.
