Sour patched man charged for biting, pulling hair and causing a high-speed head-on collision

21-year-old Jarvis Harden was charged with domestic assault, simple assault, vandalism, and two counts of aggravated assault after being accused of punching and biting his ex-girlfriend, pulling out the hair of another, and then smashing a vehicle into another in a high-speed head-on collision.

On March 10th, a commotion commenced inside a vehicle at the Rose Motel parking lot located at 4168 Thomas Street. According to the affidavit, Jarvis Harden was arguing with ex-girlfriend Dessarea Harris when he proceeded to bite her and pull out the hair of another victim, Desmond Greene. The report says he also struck both individuals, who then exited the vehicle and got into a 1998 Toyota Corolla. The Toyota was occupied by Cristavion Johnson and Sheeniqua Johnson.

Jarvis then blocked the Corolla on the premise that his cell phone was missing. Dessarea and Desmond got out of the Corolla to assist and after finding his phone with their help, he then “allowed” them to leave. However, Jarvis then followed them, colliding repeatedly with the vehicle until it was forced off the road, and then made a speedy retreat. The Johnsons left their vehicle to check things out just as Harden turned his vehicle around and accelerated greatly toward them, crashing headfirst into their car. After this, Jarvis still attempted to flee the scene on foot but was apprehended. Jarvis and both Johnsons were transported to the hospital.

Jarvis Harden was arrested and charged with domestic assault, simple assault, vandalism, and two counts of aggravated assault. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $65,000 bond.
