33-year-old Christopher Azor was charged with forcibly fondling his 13-year-old son. In a signed statement, Azor claimed if he did any of the acts that he was accused of it’s because he was asleep and not in his right frame of mind.
On May 4th, MPD responded to a forcible fondling at 4328 Park Forrest Drive. The 13-year-old victim spoke to MPD when they arrived, telling them that his father Christopher Azor woke him up by climbing into bed with him. Azor started grabbing the victim from behind and humping his buttocks, said the victim.
Once the victim was interviewed by sex crimes investigators, he stated that his father held him down, pulled his shorts down, covered his mouth, and tried to insert his penis into the victim’s buttocks. Officers detained Azor and transported him to the Sex Crimes Office for further investigation.
A statement was given by Azor stating that he remembers grabbing his son’s buttocks but did so thinking it was his girlfriend. Then Azor said if he did any of the acts that he was accused of, it’s because he was asleep and not in his right frame of mind.
Christopher Azor was arrested and charged with sexual battery by an authority figure. His bond was set at $100,000.
