27-year-old Cordaryl Terry was charged with domestic assault after he punched his 4-year-old daughter in the stomach and her mother in the face when she said the child was not his, per report.
On May 7th, Officer Foster responded to Intown Suites located at 3539 Ridgeway Road for a domestic violence call. Jennifer Gardner explained that Cordaryl Terry became upset at their 4-year-old daughter for playing around. She then told him that she is not his daughter, then he punched the little girl in the stomach and then hit her in the face.
He got into her car and left after that to arrive while the police were interviewing her. They immediately placed him into custody. Gardner refused medical attention for her and her daughter but completed a DV Hold Harmless and Lethality Screen form.
Cordaryl Terry was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He is currently jailed in lieu of $1,000 bond.
