29-year-old Carlos Lipsey was charged with domestic assault after he punched his romantic partner of three years in the lip and poured beer on her head during an argument, per report.
On June 25th, officers were called to 2495 West Hillview Avenue Apt #8 in reference to an assault. Upon arrival, Shafaye Brown reported that she was involved in an argument with her romantic partner Carlos Lipsey that became physical. According to the affidavit, she said Carlos got angry and punched her in the mouth, which caused her top lip to swell.
He then poured beer on her head and threatened her by saying he would have others harm her. Carlos had left the scene and was later found by police at 2191 E. Alcy Road. Officers took four photos of Shafaye’s injuries and noted her having a swollen upper lip.
Carlos Lipsey was arrested and charged with domestic assault. His bond was set at $2,500.
