40-year-old John Gamble was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication after police gave him a ride home from an accident and he cursed at them, punched one, and then tried to run.
On August 10th, Officers Kerwin and Tracy were transporting John Gamble to his home at 70 E Chickasaw Parkway from an accident. Once they reached his residence he began screaming at the officers as well as flipping them off.
He was being extremely loud and causing a disturbance in the neighborhood then punched the window of the patrol car. As Officer Tracy was closing the patrol vehicle door to leave the residence, Gamble punched him before the door was closed. After he struck the officer he ran and was arrested. Police reported that they could smell intoxicant on his person.
John Gamble was arrested and charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication. He was later released on his own recognizance.
