18-year-old Avonta Gregory was charged with burglary of business and theft of property. After participating in the burglary and theft that occurred at Car Choice.
On July 11th, Ruddy Guzman reported a burglary to the business Car Choice. Guzman reported that entry was gain to the business when suspects broke out a glass door. Suspects were able to locate the keys to multiple vehicles that were parked on the dealership parking lot. Suspects used the keys to steal $113,738 worth of property. On August 7, Investigators located Avonta Gregory in regard to an ongoing investigation.
Gregory was placed into custody and transported to Appling Farms GIB for further investigation. Once at Appling Farms GIB Gregory waived his Miranda Rights and agreed to speak to investigators. Gregory gave a statement of admission to participating in the burglary and theft that occurred at Car Choice.
Avonta Gregory was arrested and charged with burglary of business and theft of property and is currently still in jail.
