Man jailed after swiping $364 worth of video games from Target #gameover

27-year-old Jaylin Shaw was charged with theft of property after an employee at Target witnessed him leaving the store with $364.93 worth of video games he hadn’t paid for.

On September 3rd, Memphis Police Officer Johnson was called to the Target located at 5959 Poplar Avenue in regard to a shoplifter. According to the affidavit, Loss Prevention Officer Norman Smith told the officer that he had witnessed Jaylin Shaw take several video games out of the store without paying for them.

Shaw was located outside the store with the merchandise totaling $364.93 and Officer Johnson took him into custody.

Jaylin Shaw was arrested and charged with theft of property and is jailed in lieu of a $1,000 bond.
