27-year-old D’Adrius Winfield was charged with stalking and aggravated criminal trespass after breaking into his girlfriend’s apartment, and making repeated unwanted attempts to talk with her.

On September 8th, Memphis Police Officer Harvell arrived at 669 North Avant Lane in response to a domestic violence call. Upon the officer’s arrival, D’Adrius Winfield and Amberia Funzie established they are boyfriend and girlfriend who were in an argument. While officers were in the process of speaking with Funzie, and after he had been asked to leave multiple times, Winfield returned and asked her to marry him.
