18-year-old Dallas Christian was charged with possession of lysergic acid diethylamide and marijuana, paraphernalia, and failure to yield after he almost caused an accident and detectives found a variety of LSD products and marijuana.
On September 3rd, Shelby County Sheriff’s Detectives Campbell and Farrington were en route to 2605 Sam Cooper Boulevard in response to a drug violation when they observed a vehicle, driven by Dallas Christian, failing to yield on a left turn which caused a near collision with another vehicle. A traffic stop occurred and upon contact with Christian and his passenger and the vehicle owner, Brittany Stewart, authorities could smell the scent of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
When questioned, Christian admitted to having marijuana in the car and had Stewart relinquish a homemade bong. A small black metal container with a green leafy substance inside was found. Both were detained and a search of the vehicle was conducted. Another small black container, a baggie with sugar cubes inside, a baggie with gummie type candy wrapped in tin foil, and another small piece of tin foild containing a square tab were all found within the vehicle. Christian claimed possession of all items and told authorites that the sugar cubes, tab, and gummies all contained lysergic acid diethylamide.
Dallas Christian was arrested and charged with possession of lysergic acid diethylamide and marijuana with intent to sell, drug paraphernalia, and vehicle turning left at intersection. His bond was set at $10,000.
