Woman damages boyfriend’s Camaro and his eyes with pepper spray

34-year-old Latoya Hurst was charged with domestic assault, vandalism, and resisting official detention after she threw several items at her boyfriend’s Chevrolet Camaro and pepper-sprayed him in the face.

On October 22nd, Memphis Police Officer Williamson was dispatched to the residence of Latoya Hurst, 4051 Camelot Lane, in response to a domestic assault.

Upon arrival, Latoya’s boyfriend, Christopher Foster, advised that he went to her house to retrieve his Camaro. He further said that while he was leaving she threw multiple items at his vehicle and pepper-sprayed him in the face. The estimated amount of damage to his vehicle was $1,000. When officers attempted to detain her by putting handcuffs on Latoya, she resisted.

Latoya Hurst was arrested and charged with domestic assault. vandalism, and resisting official detention. She was later released on her own recognizance.
