40-year-old Kevin Maze was charged with aggravated assault after he got into a physical altercation with a female that he knew through his brother and fractured her cheekbones and broke her nose, per report.
On November 10th, Tammy Fox came to the Memphis Police Department to report an assault that occurred at the intersection of Claybrook Street and Brown Avenue. Fox stated to Sergeant Kyle Viastos that she was approached by Kevin Maze and engaged in a physical altercation. The officer’s report stated that Fox was transported to Methodist University after Maze struck her in the face with his fists leaving her with fractured cheekbones and a broken nose.
On November 12th, Fox identified Maze through a photographic line-up at the Crump Station Precinct. Due to Fox’s fractured cheekbones, a handwritten statement was made by her where she advised that she knew Maze through his brother.
On November 13th, Kevin Maze was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. He remains jailed in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
