34-year-old Caress Tucker, a former Krystal employee, had an altercation with Carolyn Love, the General Manager of Krystal, at the Krystal on Union Avenue in the early hours of November 11th, 2021. Love stated she and Tucker argued about her termination letter from management. During their dispute, Love said Tucker became irate and threw food on her car in the parking lot, where she told her, “I’m going to beat your ass.” Love said she feared for her safety and advised the other employees to lock the business to prevent Tucker from entering the business until the police arrived. Then, on November 15th, 2021, Love went to Crump Station and provided officers with a recorded video of the occurrence and identified Tucker in a six-person photo lineup. Then, on December 1st, 2021, a warrant was issued for her arrest. Tucker was taken into custody for aggravated assault on April 24th, 2024.
Caress Tucker of Boston St in Memphis, TN, was booked into the Shelby County Jail on April 24th, charged with assault. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $3,000.
