On April 20th, 21-year-old Jakaisha Lucas was with her friend Ja’mia Estell, who was caught selling alcohol illegally in a parking lot near South Main Street. When officers made contact with Estell, she admitted to selling beverages that contained alcohol. Jakaisha Lucas, who was also with Estell at the time of her arrest, progressively became more upset and refused to obey the officer’s commands—drawing the attention of more individuals in the area. Lucas was then taken into custody for disorderly conduct.Â
Jakaisha Lucas was booked into the Shelby County Jail on April 21st, charged with disorderly conduct.
