41-year-old Teasha Rosser was involved in a domestic incident with her boyfriend, Jerald Jennings, at Westy’s on Main Street on April 22nd. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Rosser, who had a cut on her knee. She stated that she was arguing with her boyfriend Jennings about him cheating on her. Rosser then claimed Jennings started screaming, “hit me,” and pushed her onto the ground, which had caused the injury to her knee. Officers then spoke with Jennings, who stated the two were arguing when Rosser hit him. Officers observed a knot on the back of his head and took Jennings into custody. A witness, Jacob Schorr, advised officers that there was camera footage of the entire incident. Rosser was then taken into custody and transported to booking.
Teasha Rosser was booked into the Shelby County Jail on April 22nd, charged with domestic assault with bodily harm. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $1,500.
