33-year-old Camery Richardson was caught stealing money from a security guard at Octapharma Plasma on July 25th, 2023. The security guard, Deangelo McKinnie, informed law enforcement that while he was working, a black female approached him to use his phone for an Uber. While Richardson was using McKinnie’s phone, she used his CashApp to send herself $188. McKinnie identified Camery Richardson as the person who stole his money, so she was taken into custody and charged with property theft.
On January 7th, 2024, Richardson was caught shoplifting at the Walmart on Elvis Presley Boulevard. When officers arrived, they observed Richardson leaving Walmart with a black trash can filled with products and entering a Lyft. A loss prevention employee, Chardai Smith, stated that she followed Richardson and that all the items inside the trash can were stolen. Officers stopped the vehicle and recovered the stolen property valued at $444.14. Camery Richardson was taken into custody and charged with property theft.
Camery Kameem Richardson of Cameron Street Memphis, TN, was booked into the Shelby County Jail on May 27th, charged with theft of property. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $3,100.
