31-year-old Makeyva Adair was involved in a domestic incident with her brother, William Adair, at a William Tell Drive residence on May 18th. When officers arrived, they located William suffering from a stab wound to the chest. William informed officers that he was arguing with his sister Markevya when she pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the chest. Markeyva was taken into custody for aggravated assault and domestic assault.
Makeyva L Adair was booked into the Shelby County Jail on May 18th, charged with aggravated assault and domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $25,000.
