19-year-old Lashawn Hunter was charged with domestic assault after he yelled at his girlfriend, accused her of cheating, then grabbed her by the collar and punched her in the face several times.
On March 12th, Officer Gray was called for a simple assault on George Brett Drive. Laneesha Davis told officers she was involved in a verbal argument with her boyfriend Lashawn Hunter that turned physical. Laneesha went on to say that Lashawn came home and was yelling at her about knowing “she had been with another n—-“.
Lashawn then proceeded to grab Laneesha by the coat and pulled her up the stairs. When they got upstairs, Laneesha said that Lashawn grabbed her by the collar, pushed her into the wall, and started punching her in the face. She was able to get out of the apartment and call police. Officers noted that Laneesha refused medical attention and completed a hold harmless waiver.
Lashawn Hunter was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on his own recognizance.
