Three men team up against one at gunpoint to hijack his cell phones

17-year-old Kevion Bell was charged with aggravated robbery and evading arrest, 18-year-old Lemarkus Brown was charged with aggravated robbery and false reporting, and 20-year-old Martin Milan was charged with aggravated robbery, theft of property, carjacking, and unlawful possession of a weapon after they teamed up against one person at gunpoint and stole his two cell phones.

On January 21st, officers responded to a robbery call on Ashville Drive. The victim told officers that he was robbed by 2 black males at a friend’s house on Kerwin Drive. He said he heard a gunshot and turned around to see 2 black males and one had a handgun and it was pointed at him. They then started searching him, pulled his pants down and took both of his cell phones from his hand. The gun was then put to his head and he was forced to give them the phone’s passcode and sign out of his iCloud account. The 2 phones were valued at $1,100.

On January 22nd, the victim went to the Old Allen Station and gave a signed statement. He advised detectives that he was told by his friend Lemarkus Brown, who lives at the house on Kerwin, to go to the back door where he was robbed. The victim also gave detectives the Facebook profiles of the 2 males that robbed him. One of the names was Yg Ru Savage, in which the URL for that profile was Kevion Bell. The other was for a Martin Antonio Milan, in which the URL for that profile was Martin Milan. Detectives used MPD MDSAS to verify the profiles belonged to both defendants.

On January 23rd, Lemarkus Brown waived his rights and provided a signed statement to detectives. In his statement, Lemarkus said he was with the victim and other friends. As they were walking to his house, they heard a gunshot and everyone ran away. Lemarkus denied having any knowledge about Yg Ru Savage or anyone named Martin Milan. On January 24th, detectives analyzed RTCC cameras at Kerwin Drive and Voltaire Avenue and they observed Lemarkus walking with three individuals and two of them are picked up in a vehicle while the victim is seen running from the scene. On February 20th, detectives review Lamarkus’ Facebook page and see pictures of him with Kevion Bell and Martin Milan. On February 25th, Lemarkus was brought to the station where he waived his rights, admitted to knowing Kevion and Martin, but denied being part of the robbery. Lemarkus Brown was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and false reporting. His bond was set at $60,000.

On January 29th, OAS Task Force Officers went to Kingsbury High School on North Graham Street to locate Kevion Bell, who ran from the office when he found out. Officers verbally commanded Kevion to stop and he refused. Officers were able to catch him after a short foot pursuit. When Kevion arrived at the police station, he refused to give a statement. Kevion Bell was bound over from the juvenile system to be tried as an adult. He was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and evading arrest. His bond was set at $150,000.

On January 30th, detectives showed the victim a 6-person photo lineup and he immediately identified Martin Milan as the man that robbed him at gunpoint. A warrant was issued on February 3rd. On February 12th, Martin Milan was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery, theft of property, carjacking, and unlawful possession of a weapon. His bond was set at $132,000.
