Man smashes 3 vehicles, unresponsive in reverse gear, MFD breaks window to administer NARCAN

30-year-old Gregory Meador was charged with DUI, public intoxication, and reckless driving when he wrecked into three vehicles and Memphis Fire had to break his rear passenger window to reach him and administer NARCAN.

On May 8th, Memphis Police Officers were called to the Home Depot at 8010 Giacosa Place. According to the affidavit, a silver Dodge Ram had crashed into three vehicles.

Upon arrival, officers observed Gregory Meador unresponsive in the driver’s seat while the vehicle was in reverse gear. Memphis Fire broke the rear passenger window to access the interior. Meador was given NARCAN and taken to Saint Francis Bartlett while in custody for driving under the influence.

Gregory Meador was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, public intoxication and reckless driving. His bond was set at $3,000.
