Memphis man breaks into ex-girlfriend’s house and threatens to burn it down

27-year-old Rodreques Coleman was charged with domestic assault after he broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house and threatened to burn her house down after being arrested a little over a week prior to a domestic violence report.

On May 12th, Officer Rowsey wrote a continuation for a simple assault, when he and other officers responded to a domestic violence call at 4620 Berta Road. The dispatcher advised officers that the defendant, Rodreques Coleman, broke into the victim, his ex-girlfriend, Natasha Moss’ house, and threatened to burn it down.

When police arrived he refused to come outside and closed the door. This report was continued from Coleman assaulting Moss and her son by punching them in the face on May 4th.

Rodreques Coleman was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on his own recognizance.
