37-year-old Donald Mol was charged with domestic assault with bodily harm after he went through his wife’s phone while she was sleeping, where he found pictures that he did not like and got angry with her by slapping her and pressing her face into the floor, per report.
On April 29th, officers were called to 4128 Hilldale Street in reference to an assault. Upon arrival, Brittni Mol reported she was involved in a physical altercation with her husband Donald Mol. She said that she was sleeping and woke up to Donald going through her phone.
Brittni went on to say that Donald found a few pictures on her phone that he didn’t like and got angry. She said Donald started slapping her in the face, then held her down while pressing her face against the floor. He then “grabbed her hard” on the arm and leg, and thinks it will cause bruising. Officers noted they did not see any visible injuries on her at that time.
When Donald spoke with officers, he denied everything Brittni told them except that they had an argument, but it was not physically aggressive. Officers then placed Donald into custody, had Brittni fill out and DV Hold Harmless form, and she refused any medical attention.
Donald Mol was arrested and charged with domestic assault with bodily harm. He was later released on his own recognizance.
