31-year-old Precious Braxton was charged with domestic assault after she hit her boyfriend in the arm and chest during an argument at a local Zaxby’s. Officers observed the incident on security footage.
On May 5th, MPD officers were dispatched to Zaxby’s at 2240 Union Avenue for a domestic assault where the defendant, Precious Braxton, and the victim, Dedrick Smith were.
Officers observed video camera footage showing Braxton hitting Smith in the arm and chest and noted that Braxton and Smith lived and had children together. Braxton was then transported to Jail East.
Precious Braxton was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She was later released on her own recognizance.
