Krystal’s manager has a cup of urine thrown at her for defending sign

60-year-old Mike Hunter was charged with assault, vandalism, disorderly conduct, and pedestrian walking upon the roadway after he vandalized a Krystal’s sign, then tried to fight the manager, threw a cup full of urine at her, and ran after harassing two others.

On June 7th, close to 10 am Officers Gillentine and Welch arrived at 1377 Union Avenue to speak to the Manager at Krystal’s, Latoya Petty, who was the victim of vandalism. She said that an unknown man, later known as Mike Hunter, her statement said that he tried hitting her and she hit him with a bag of Krystal’s food after he vandalized her sign. Hunter then threw a cup of what smelled like urine at her and fled the scene.

He was found walking down Bellevue/Eastmoreland when the police made contact with him, and he admitted to being the one who tried to hit Petty. Earlier at 1377 Union police interviewed a man who said that Hunter harassed and threatened him at 1355 Union, as well as another Krystal’s employee who said that he threatened her as well. She told police that he walked towards her with a closed fist after the threat to hurt her while she was delivering food to a customer.

Mike Hunter was arrested and charged with assault, vandalism, disorderly conduct, and pedestrian walking upon the roadway. His bond was set at $100.
