47-year-old Marion “Yo-God” Ross was charged for kidnapping the mother of his two children, punching her in the head, and strangling her inside a room at Motel 6.
On June 20th, Latoya Montgomery called and stated that she was at the Hotel 6 on 210 South Pauline Street and that she was kidnapped. She told police that Marion Ross, the father of her two kids punched her in the face and strangled her until she fell unconscious.
Ross strangled her until she was unconscious again when she began screaming. He was holding her against her will, she reported until she managed to escape when he had his back turned to her.
Marion Ross was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and kidnapping. His bond was set at $50,000.
