In addition, Woodland reportedly ripped off Wells’ wig before she was able to vacate the residence. Wells then contacted law enforcement, who arrived at the scene shortly thereafter. Woodland was not initially at the scene of the incident, but would later return in a Buick Lucerne. Following the man’s consent, a search was conducted on Woodland’s vehicle. A search of the sedan yielded no weapons. Sergeant Parker proceeded to obtain a search warrant for the premises, finding evidence that supported Wells’ statement.

Dexter Woodland was arrested and charged with domestic and aggravated assault. His bond was set at $15,000.
