52-year-old William Wright was charged with domestic assault after his wife said he slapped her several times over home improvement decisions.
On August 14th, Shelby County Deputies Foster, Hearn, and SiriMartinez responded to a domestic violence call at 10076 Shelby Meadows Cove where they found William and Aurora Wright in the back yard. Mrs. Wright told the deputies her husband had become irate over the changes they were discussing in their home.
She stated the argument had begun in the master bathroom and continued to the master bedroom, where William slapped her across the face several times. Bruising and abrasions were noticed on Aurora’s face and bottom lip. The report states that William admitted to hitting his wife. She refused treatment and completed a hold harmless agreement.
William Wright was arrested and charged with domestic assault. His bond was set at $750.
