57-year-old Gregory Pointer was charged with sexual battery when he grabbed his juvenile neighbor’s genitals while he was at his house watching a movie.
On August 30th, officers arrived at 3930 Allenbrook Cove, Hickory Hollow Senior Apartments, in response to a complaint call. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a juvenile, 16 years of age, who stated that on Wednesday, August 26th, he was over at his neighbor’s house watching a movie.
The juvenile advised that the resident of the apartment was Gregory Pointer. He further reported that while watching the movie, Pointer placed his hand on his leg, slid it up his leg, went up his shorts, and grabbed his genitals. The juvenile gave officers Pointer’s name, directed them to his residence, and later identified him in a photo lineup.
Gregory Pointer was arrested and charged with sexual battery. His bond was set at $20,000.
