Man returns to warehouse after first burglary to commit another

44-year-old David Thompson was charged with burglary and possession of burglary tools when he and an unknown accomplice burgled Fontana Transports twice within three days.

On August 11th, David Thompson and an unidentified accomplice opened a bay door at Fontana Transports at 1896 Brooks Road and stole about $30,000 of various merchandise including electronics and alcohol wipes.

Thompson and his partner returned to the same business three days later and tried to attempt the same burglary, but was caught when Jesus Tampianegrete saw both on video. Police apprehended Thompson and found stolen goods from the first robbery and a pair of bolt cutters in his 2003 Honda Odyssey.

David Thompson was arrested and charged with burglary and possession of burglary tools. His bond was set at $25,000.
