Man jailed for attacking his girlfriend and damaging her car during an argument

22-year-old Isaia Marshall was charged with domestic assault and vandalism after pushing his girlfriend and punching the driver’s side mirror on her Nissan Versa.

On September 5th, Memphis Police Officer Fleites was dispatched to 588 Arbor Hollow where Kierry Nash explained she got into a verbal altercation with her boyfriend Isaia Marshall. Marshall got angry and pushed Nash through the balcony door before exiting the residence and hitting her Nissan Versa’s driver side mirror with his fist. Marshall admitted to the officer that he pushed Nash inside the residence during their disagreement.

There was noticeable swelling on Nash’s left cheek, but she refused medical attention. She did complete a DV hold harmless and lethality form. Officers also noted damage to Nash’s car. Due to the statements of both individuals, injuries to Nash, and damage to the vehicle, Marshall was found to be the primary aggressor and was taken into custody.

Isaia Marshall was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault and Vandalism. He was later released on his own recognizance.
