Twins hit juvenile cousin with blunt object when she tried to retrieve her stolen phone

25-year-old Sabrina and Kabrina Perkins were charged with domestic assault after they stole their cousin’s cell phone and hit her in the head with a blunt object when she attempted to get it back.

On September 18th, Shelby County Police Officer Self was dispatched to an assault that occurred at 3427 Pine Ridge Lane. The officer spoke with the victim who stated her cousins, Sabrina Perkins and Kabrina Perkins, came to the residence and started an argument about an incident that took place four years ago. The girls then took the victim’s phone and began to leave the scene.

Complainant, Doris Suggars told the victim to go get her phone back. When she attempted to retrieve the phone, Sabrina and Kabrina struck her in the head with an unknown blunt object causing a large laceration to her forehead. The victim was transported to Baptist Pediatrics non-critical for treatment. Pictures were taken of the juvenile’s wound and the Perkins sisters were taken into custody.

Kabrina Perkins was arrested and charged with domestic assault causing bodily harm. She was released on her own recognizance.
