Woman hits girlfriend in head with shoe for not giving her a kiss in the morning

21-year-old Alyssa Haynie was charged with domestic assault after she didn’t get a kiss from her girlfriend and she hit her in the head with a shoe.

On September 20th, Shelby County Officer Dugger arrived at 1445 Catherine Street in response to a domestic violence call. Ashley Owens told police that earlier she was getting ready to leave home for work when her girlfriend, Alyssa Haynie, became very upset. Hynie started screaming at Owens because she had not received a kiss from her.

Haynie was said to have locked Owens in the bedroom and screamed at her, and when Owens was able to get to the porch Haynie pushed her off. Owens continued, saying that Haynie threw a shoe at her and hit her on the head. Haynie admitted to throwing a shoe at Owens and was determined to be the aggressor.

Alyssa Hayne was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She was later released on her own recognizance.
