21-year-old T’Kia Payton was charged with domestic violence after she reportedly got in her boyfriend’s face and punched him during a disagreement about a Facebook post.
On October 12, Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputy Phillips responded to a report of simple assault at the residence of 4835 Southern Hills Drive. Upon arrival, Deputy Phillips made contact with T’Kia Payton who reported she and her boyfriend, Romeo Washington, were in an argument due to something that was posted on Facebook.
