Evelyn advised that after he punched, scratched, and slapped her, he proceeded to drag her by her neck. She reported that he was high on cocaine the entire night and refused to leave unless she gave him money. She also stated that he threatened to kill her if they showed up. Officers noted scratches on Evelyn’s cheek and when they arrived Darrell was yelling but no threats were made.

Darrell claimed a verbal disagreement occurred but advised that neither one of them was assaulted. He said Evelyn grabbed him like she wanted him to stay and he did not feel attacked. However, he later changed his statement, insisting he was assaulted.

Darrell Lee was charged with domestic assault. He was released on a $5,000 bond.
