Man bloodies girlfriend’s nose for taking blunt out of his mouth

25-year-old Christopher Booker was charged with domestic assault after decking his girlfriend in the nose when she stole his blunt at a red light, per report.

On November 13th, Memphis Police Officer McCloud responded to a domestic assault call at 3613 Dumas Street. According to the affidavit, officers received a call from Shandra Gambil, the mother of Nakesia Gambil, who stated that her daughter’s boyfriend was assaulting her while driving on Covington Pike. They were able to locate the couple at a butcher shop at 3226 Thomas Street.

Nakesia told the officers that Christopher Booker became upset after she snatched a blunt away from his mouth while he was driving with kids in the car. She continued stating that he closed fist punched her in the nose, causing it to bleed at a red light. She completed a Hold Harmless Agreement and refused medical treatment while on the scene. Officers took photos of her injuries and placed Christopher under arrest. He was transported to the Shelby County Jail. There have been two previous domestic incidents between Christopher and Nakesia.

Christopher Booker was arrested with warrants and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on a $22,500 bond.
