32-year-old Dameion Harris was charged with domestic assault after he kicked his front door off its hinges and slammed his girlfriend against the wall.
On October 27th, Memphis Police Officer Shaw arrived at the residence of 2224 Oxford Lake Court in response to a domestic violence call. Upon arrival, Officer Shaw spoke with Terria Oliver, who advised her boyfriend and the father of her children, Dameion Harris, showed up to their home drunk. She stated he knocked on the front door and said, “Let me in the fucking house before I kick the door in”.
Oliver reported when she refused to open the door, Harris kicked it off the hinges, threw her, and shook her against the wall while yelling at her. She advised after her children ran upstairs to her mother’s room and locked the door, Harris also went upstairs and kicked open the kids’ bedroom door. Oliver stated he proceeded to lay down on the lower bunk bed and go to sleep. Officers were also informed by a neighbor that Oliver and Harris were arguing outside prior to their arrival.
Dameion Harris was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on a $10,000 bond.
