55-year-old Kristin Fletcher was charged with assault, harassment, and vandalism after she accused her asthmatic neighbor of smoking and sprayed him in the face with a fire extinguisher.
On October 13th, Memphis Police Officer Moore arrived at the residence of 339 Marcross Cove in response to an assault call. Upon arrival, Officer Moore made contact with Johnathan Conner who advised his neighbor, Kristin Fletcher, had been harassing him for the past several days. Conner stated Fletcher left threatening notes and accused him of smoking marijuana in his apartment.
He informed officers he asked Fletcher to leave him alone on several occasions and to talk to the manager instead of him, but she would not leave him alone. He reported she knocked on his door and when he answered, she started yelling and cursing at him. Conner stated she pulled the pin out of a fire extinguisher and sprayed his face, body, and the inside of his apartment, damaging the furniture and the floor. Due to Conner’s asthma, medical assistance was provided. On October 24th, Conner positively identified Kristin Fletcher as his assailant.
Kristin Fletcher was arrested and charged with assault, harassment, and vandalism. She was later released on her own recognizance.
